Quick Feint Duel
This policy explains how this application handles information and how to contact us about privacy.
Information we process
Quick Feint Duel stores your campaign victories, training completion counts, chosen arena and equipment, language and haptic preferences, an unfinished paused bout, and recent completed duel records locally on your iPhone using SwiftData. A completed duel record contains a random duel identifier, opponent, mode, scores, elapsed duration and counts of game actions. Pending records remain locally queued until synchronization succeeds. The app automatically obtains a random installation identifier and a unique access secret; these are kept in the iOS Keychain. Our server stores the installation identifier, a one-way hash of its secret, campaign and training progress, selected cosmetics, a synchronization revision, completed duel records and server creation timestamps. It does not receive your language or haptic preferences or unfinished bout. Requests to the API and public website necessarily expose network information such as IP address, request path, time and technical connection information to the hosting infrastructure. The app does not request your name, email address, contacts, location, photos or advertising identifier.
How we use information
Local storage allows offline play, resuming a paused bout and preserving your choices. Server storage synchronizes this installation's campaign progress and completed duel statistics when connectivity is available. Action counts support retaining a record of fencing patterns; adaptive opponent decisions are computed locally from the last five actions during the bout. Random identifiers support private authorization and prevent duplicate duel submissions when a request is retried. Network and operational information is processed to deliver requests, maintain the service and diagnose availability. There is no account, advertising, purchase, newsletter or email delivery system.
Service providers and sharing
The backend and public privacy page are hosted by Railway. Railway processes the requests and stores the service's persistent SQLite database on its infrastructure, and may process infrastructure and access logs. No advertising, analytics, social login or messaging SDK is included in the app. We do not publish installation progress or provide a public player directory. We do not send gameplay records to another app integration. Apple supplies the iPhone operating system, Keychain and device backup capabilities under your device settings; local data may be included in a device backup. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law. No fixed Railway log-retention period is asserted in this policy.
Data retention
Local progress and the paused bout are kept until you delete them, reset this installation or remove the app, subject to iOS backup behavior. The app keeps at most 50 recent completed duel records locally; pending unsent records remain queued until accepted or deleted. Server progress and completed duel records remain until installation deletion is requested; there is no automatic age-based deletion schedule implemented. The service does not create its own scheduled database backups. Hosting snapshots, infrastructure logs and any device backups are governed by the respective provider's configuration and retention; we cannot promise their immediate erasure or a specific retention duration. Logical database deletion does not guarantee instant removal of all residual storage or previously made copies.
Deleting your information
Use Settings, Privacy & data, Delete all my data to request removal of this installation's server progress, duel records and authorization record and to clear its local game data and Keychain credential. Server deletion requires a working connection. If the server request cannot be confirmed, the app reports failure and retains local progress so you can retry. After successful deletion, later synchronization can create a new empty installation. Removing only the app does not itself send a server deletion request, and iOS may retain a Keychain entry. A lost installation secret cannot be recovered through an account or email. Deletion removes active application records but does not promise immediate removal from infrastructure logs, provider snapshots or device backups. You can manage device backups through your Apple settings.
Permissions and your choices
Quick Feint Duel does not request access to location, contacts, camera, microphone, photo library or notifications. Internet connectivity is used for the automatic progress sync and for opening the public privacy policy. You can use the game offline and control network access in your device settings; local gameplay continues, but server synchronization and server deletion require connectivity. Haptic feedback can be disabled in the app's Settings. This choice remains on the device.
Your privacy rights
For privacy questions or requests concerning access, correction or deletion, contact ArianwenPryce1864@icloud.com. This address is a public privacy contact, not an app login or an automated in-app messaging service. Depending on your location, applicable law may provide rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing and to complain to a relevant authority. We may need enough information to verify that a request concerns your installation, and cannot promise to identify data after its secret is lost. Do not email your installation secret. The in-app deletion control is the direct way to delete data that the installation can authorize.
Security
The deployed app communicates with the backend over HTTPS. Each installation has its own randomly generated secret stored with this-device-only Keychain accessibility. The server stores a cryptographic hash rather than the raw secret and checks a Bearer credential before reading, updating or deleting private records. SQLite transactions, foreign-key deletion, input validation and request-size and connection limits protect data integrity. Application code does not log authorization headers or private request payloads. Hosting infrastructure may separately record request metadata. No shared client password is embedded, and no private progress endpoint is intentionally public. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children’s privacy
Quick Feint Duel is designed for an audience aged 16 and over and is not directed to young children. It does not ask for a birth date or collect an account profile. If you believe a child has supplied personal information through this service, please contact ArianwenPryce1864@icloud.com so the concern can be assessed. Do not include the child's installation secret in an email.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated when the app's actual processing or hosting practices change. The effective date above identifies this version. The current policy is available through Settings and at this public /privacy page without a login or cookies. Please review it after an app update. Material processing changes will be reflected in the policy accompanying the changed behavior.
